Product Details
PBT products have a wide range of qualities that are compatible with injection and extrusion molding. PBT can be processed in injection and molding at temperatures from 230°C to 270°C, but can also be processed in extrusion or blow molding to meet specific applications.
Properties:A highly crystalline thermoplastic plastic with a melting point of 220 to 230°C and a faster crystallization rate than pet.
Advantages.
1, mechanical properties stable tensile strength and tensile modulus and nylon similar
2, small coefficient of friction has a self-lubricating properties
3, low water absorption rate
4、Excellent electrical properties
5、Good dimensional stability
6、Excellent chemical resistance and oil resistance
Disadvantages.
1、Tg (30℃) is low, H.D.T. is 60℃ under load.
2、Impact strength is not good, generally use glass fiber reinforcement for fr-pbt
Application.
