POM plastic material resin
POM is a flammable material with a pungent odor. Its heat resistance is not high. The maximum heat-resistant temperature is 160, and the long-term use temperature range is -40-100. It is easily decomposed and decomposed in an environment of 280. It is accompanied by the release of irritating and corrosive gases, so the mold should be made of corrosion-resistant materials. POM has high strength and high rigidity, and its mechanical properties are very similar to metal materials. Excellent friction resistance and good self-lubrication. It is mostly used for gears and bearings. The fatigue is outstanding, the fatigue strength can reach 35MPa, the electrical insulation is excellent, and it is not affected by temperature and humidity.
POM polyformaldehyde is currently widely used in auto parts, instrumentation, machine tools, etc.
