Due to its excellent comprehensive balance performance, Pei has been effectively applied in the industrial sectors such as electronics, electrical machinery and aviation, and used as metal substitute materials for traditional products and cultural and daily necessities. Using Pei instead of metal to make optical fiber connector can optimize the structure of components, simplify the manufacturing and assembly steps, and maintain more accurate dimensions. It is used in the automotive field, such as manufacturing high-temperature connectors, high-power lights and indicator lights, sensors for controlling the external temperature of automobile cabins (air-conditioning temperature sensors) and sensors for controlling the temperature of air and fuel mixtures (effective combustion temperature sensors). It can also be used as the impeller of vacuum pump which can resist the erosion of high temperature lubricating oil, the ground glass joint (socket) of distiller operated at 180 ℃, and the reflector of non lighting anti fog lamp.
PEI Plastic Pellet process conditions
Drying treatment: Pei has hygroscopic properties and can lead to material degradation. The humidity value should be less than 0.02%. The recommended drying condition is 150 ℃ for 4 hours.
Melting temperature: 340 ~ 400 ℃ for common materials and 340 ~ 415 ℃ for reinforced materials.
Mold temperature: 107 ~ 175 ℃, the recommended mold temperature is 140 ℃.
Injection pressure: 700-1500 bar.
Injection speed: use the injection speed as high as possible.
