General performance of PBT:

PBT is a kind of crystalline engineering plastic with excellent performance, high rigidity and hardness, and good thermal stability. The density is 1.30～1.38g/cm3, and the crystalline melting point is 220～267℃. It has excellent impact resistance due to the coefficient of friction. Low and excellent wear resistance, good dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, good chemical resistance (except concentrated nitric acid); easy to hydrolyze, products are not suitable for use in water, molding shrinkage rate is 1.7 to 2.2% (larger ), the product can increase its impact strength by 10-15% after annealing at 120℃. It is a kind of thermoplastic engineering plastic with excellent comprehensive performance, which is widely used in automobile, electronic and electrical manufacturing, and it is used for manufacturing with higher mechanical strength requirements. The parts and parts with heat resistance, impact resistance and abrasion resistance, etc., have become an important member of the five major engineering plastics. Pure PBT resin also has shortcomings: poor flame retardancy (only UL-94HB level), low notched impact strength, etc.

Tuning parameters:

Dry at 105°C to 120°C for 4 to 8 hours.
