The density is 1.30～1.38g/cm3, the crystalline melting point is 220～267℃; it has excellent impact resistance Performance, due to low friction coefficient, excellent wear resistance, good dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, good chemical resistance (except concentrated nitric acid); easy to hydrolyze, products are not suitable for use in water, and the molding shrinkage rate is 1.7~ 2.2% (larger), the product can increase its impact strength by 10-15% after annealing at 120°C.
PBT fiber reinforced fire protection: PBT must be dried at a temperature of 110-120°C for about 3 hours before injection, the molding processing temperature is 250-270°C, and the mold temperature should be controlled at 50-75°C. Since the material is cooled from the molten state, it will immediately solidify and crystallize, so its cooling time is short; if the nozzle temperature is not properly controlled (lower), the flow channel (nozzle) is easy to cool and solidify, and the phenomenon of plugging will occur. If the barrel temperature exceeds 275°C or the molten material stays in the barrel for more than 30 minutes, it is easy to cause the material to decompose and become brittle. PBT injection molding requires a larger nozzle to enter the glue. It is not suitable to use a hot runner system. The mold must be well vented. It is advisable to use “high speed, medium pressure, and medium temperature” conditions for molding. Fireproof materials or PBT nozzle materials with glass fiber should not be used. For recycling, PE or PP material should be used to clean the material pipe in time when the machine is shut down to avoid carbonization.
