The treatment of plastics is divided into general grade ABS and ABS containing PC component. The general ABS can be dried in an oven at 80-85℃ for 2-4 hours, while ABS with PC component needs to increase the temperature. To 100°C, the specific time can be determined by air extrusion.
For the selection of injection molding machine, Ramada’s standard injection molding machine can be used (the screw length to diameter ratio is 20:1, the compression ratio is greater than 2, and the injection pressure is greater than 1500bar). If you use masterbatch or the product appearance requires high material, you can choose a screw with a small diameter. The clamping force is determined according to 4700-6200t/m2, and the specific needs to be determined according to the plastic grade and product requirements.
