High gloss ABS plastic resin
Most ABS is non-toxic and impervious to water, but slightly permeable to water vapor, and has low water absorption. The water absorption rate of room temperature immersion does not exceed 1% for one year without any change in physical properties. The surface of ABS resin products can be polished to obtain highly glossy products.
High-gloss ABS has metallic luster and good processability, and is used in household appliances such as vacuum cleaners, fans, air conditioners, and telephones.
Low-gloss ABS is used in automobile interior parts such as instrument panels, instrument covers, pillars, etc., using the method of filling and thickening to shrink the surface microscopically and reduce the surface gloss.
