Chemical and physical properties:
PC is an amorphous engineering material with exceptionally good impact strength thermal stability, gloss, bacterial inhibiting properties, flame retardant properties and anti-pollution properties.PC has a very high notched impact strength and a low shrinkage rate, generally 0.1-0.2%. PC has very good mechanical properties, but the flowability is poor, so this material is difficult to injection molding process. When choosing PC materials, the final expectation of the product should be the benchmark. If the molded part requires high impact resistance, then use a low melt index PC material; conversely, you can use a high melt index PC material, which can optimize the injection molding process.

Injection molding process conditions are as follows:

Drying: PC materials are hygroscopic, so it is important to dry them before processing. The recommended drying conditions are 100-120°C, 3-4h. The humidity must be less than 0.02% before processing.
Melting temperature: 260-340°C ;
Mold temperature: 70-120°C.
Injection pressure: Use as high an injection pressure as possible.
Injection rate: Use low speed for small gates and high speed for other types of gates.
