聚甲醛可以通过压缩、注射、挤出、吹塑等方式成型。加工温度在170~200℃之间，也可以进行机加工和焊接。重量轻、硬度高、刚性好、有弹性、尺寸稳定、摩擦系数低、吸水率低、绝缘性好、耐有机溶剂性好；适用于50~105℃的温度和湿度范围；循环试剂和大的化学负荷保持不变
