Product Details
The moisture absorption property of PBT is too weak. The tensile strength of non-reinforced PBT is 50MPa, and the tensile strength of glass fiber improved PBT is 170MPa. PBT crystallizes very fast, thus it is very easy to bend and deform the products due to uneven cooling in the whole process of injection molding process. The general PBT raw material shrinkage rate is in the middle of 1.5%-2.8%. Containing 30% glass fiber to improve the PBT raw material shrinkage of 0.3%-1.6% in the middle.
Half of the PBT consumed in the automotive industry is produced by PBT/PC aluminum alloy with PC, which can be used for car bumpers. In addition, PBT can also be used for window glass motor housing, electric locomotive motor parts, car transmission gear box, heat pipe radiator window, car body panel, wheel cover, window and door components, etc.
