PEI is a thermoplastic engineering resin with a good stability level: one of the outstanding properties of PEI resin is its ability to withstand long periods of high temperature.

This high heat resistance, combined with excellent flame retardancy and UL laboratory certification, makes PEI resins meet the demanding requirements of high temperature applications.

PEI resin combines high strength and high modulus with outstanding ductility.

Its yield stretch extends its freedom to incorporate a variety of snap fit designs that are easy to assemble.

Even in the case where only 10% glass fiber reinforcement is added, the PEI resin can maintain ductility in the temperature range from below zero to 200 °C.

PEI resin has excellent practical impact resistance. Since PEI resins exhibit notch sensitivity, it is recommended to follow standard design guidelines.

The application of concentrated points (such as sharp corners) in the injection molded parts should be greatly reduced to provide a large impact strength.
