聚苯醚，俗称PPS，是一种新型高性能热塑性塑料，具有高冲击韧性、耐高温、耐化学性、阻燃性、耐热性、电性能等优点。广泛应用于电子设备、汽车、机械设备、化工等行业

PPS的突出表现是：① 优异的耐高温性能，适用于180~220℃的温度范围；② 耐腐蚀性接近聚四氟乙烯；③ 优异的电气性能；④ 优秀的机械设备性能；⑤ 良好的阻燃性能

PPS缺陷包括：① 价格高，在耐高温塑料中属于最低价，但远高于一般工程塑料；② 延展性差，脆性大；③ 生产加工粘度不稳定。纯聚苯硫醚由于其易碎的性质，很少有独立的应用，使用聚苯硫醚对其性能类别进行改进。实际：40%玻璃纤维增强聚苯硫醚、无机添加剂聚苯硫醚、碳纤维材料增强聚苯硫醚等

Product Details

Polyphenylene ether, commonly known as PPS, is a new high-performance thermoplastic with high impact toughness, high temperature resistance, chemical resistance, flame retardancy, heat resistance, electrical properties and other advantages. It is widely used in electronic devices, automobiles, machinery and equipment, and chemical plant industries.

PPS outstanding performance are: ① excellent high temperature resistance, can be applied in the temperature range of 180 ~ 220 ℃; ② corrosion resistance close to PTFE; ③ excellent electrical properties; ④ excellent mechanical equipment performance; ⑤ good flame retardant properties.

PPS deficiencies are: ① high price, in the high temperature resistant plastic belongs to the bottom price, but much higher than general engineering plastics; ② poor ductility, brittle sex; ③ production and processing viscosity instability. Pure PPS because of the brittle nature of very few independent applications, the use of PPS for its improved performance categories. Actual: 40% glass fiber reinforced PPS, inorganic additive PPS, carbon fiber material reinforced PPS, etc..
