Impact resistant PEI for sheet
PEI sheets are non-crystalline plastics. It is an amorphous high-performance polymer. It is made of engineering plastics made of amorphous PEI (polyetherimide) and extruded at high temperature through an extruder.
PEI plastic meets the FAA flame-retardant and thermal thinning material standards required by aircraft interiors. The glass transition temperature is 419F, and it is allowed to be used intermittently at 392F. At 356T, the tensile temperature and flexural modulus are above 41 and 2068 MPa, respectively.
Impact-resistant PEI sheets are often used in various parts of aircraft, such as portholes, nose parts, seat backs, inner wall panels, door coverings, and various objects for passengers.
