PA66 is a transparent or opaque milky white crystalline polymer with plasticity. The density is 1.15g/cm3. The melting point is 252°C. The embrittlement temperature is -30℃. The thermal decomposition temperature is greater than 350°C. Continuous heat resistance 80-120℃, equilibrium water absorption rate 2.5%. It is resistant to acids, alkalis, most inorganic salt solutions, halogenated alkanes, hydrocarbons, esters, ketones, etc.
The door handles of trains and passenger cars, the brake coupling discs of freight cars, etc. can be made of PA66.
Other insulating washers, baffle seats, turbines on ships, propeller shafts, propellers, sliding bearings, etc. can also be made of PA66.
Nylon 66 with high impact resistance can also be used to make pipe wrenches, plastic molds, and radio controlled car bodies.
