Application: IT&OA (Notebook PC housing
PC ABS (engineering plastic alloy),this material not only has the excellent heat and weather resistance, dimensional stability and impact resistance of PC resin, but also has the excellent processing liquidity of ABS resin.
So used in thin wall and complex shape products, can maintain its excellent properties, as well as maintain the plastic and an ester of the material formed. The biggest disadvantage of ABS engineering plastics is its heavy mass and poor thermal conductivity.
Its forming temperature is taken from the temperature between the two raw materials, which is 240-265 degrees.
If the temperature is too high, ABS will decompose; if the temperature is too low, the fluidity of PC materials will be poor.

PC/ABS Injection molding process conditions:
Drying: Drying prior to processing is a must. Humidity should be less than 0.04%, the recommended drying conditions are 90~110C, 2~4 hours.
Melting temperature: 230~300C.
Mold temperature: 50~100C.
Injection pressure: depends on the plastic part.
Injection rate: as high as possible.
