Product Details

At 13,300 MPa, the coefficient of elasticity and steel index of the material is more than twice as high as standard PA 66granules with 30% glass fiber content. Our innovative material gives users the opportunity to produce thinner parts as an alternative to 30% glass fiber reinforced PA66, but with the same mechanical properties. Thinner parts also have the potential to save weight.

As can be expected, the new highly filled PA 66granules construction material offers better chemical resistance than PA 6, which has the same glass fiber content, and this particular high thermal stability is a special characteristic of the material that greatly expands its range of applications.

Another advantage of the new material is its superior processing characteristics. Despite its high glass fiber content, it has the same flow properties as PA66 granules with 3% glass fiber. It can also be molded at the same temperature.

The new PA66 granules can also replace metal components. Its potential applications include valve covers, transmission and engine oil pans, brackets and intake ducts. Engine fittings and coupling rods are among other areas.
