Polymethacrylate is resistant to outdoor aging, has excellent light transmittance, and does not affect its transparency. After 240 hours of accelerated aging of light, it can still transmit 92% of the sun’s light. It is still outdoors for ten years. 89%, ultraviolet rays reach 78.5%.

Polymethacrylate PMMA resin has high mechanical strength, a certain degree of cold resistance, corrosion resistance, good insulation performance, stable size, easy to shape, relatively brittle, easy to melt in organic solvents, insufficient surface hardness, and easy to scratch and fluff.

Polymethacrylate PMMA resin injection performance: The moisture absorption rate of PMMA is 0.3%, and it must be dried before injection. Generally, it should be dried at about 80℃ for 2～4h; during injection molding, the melt temperature should be 240～270℃, and the mold temperature should be controlled at 35～70℃. .

Polymethacrylate PMMA resin is widely used in automotive lighting signs, door glass and lamp glass covers due to its good light transmission properties.
