Process conditions of PEI injection mould:
Drying treatment: PEI has hygroscopic properties and can cause material degradation. The humidity value should be less than 0.02%. The recommended drying condition is 150°C for 4 hours.
Melting temperature: 340～400℃ for common type material; 340～415℃ for reinforced type material.
Mold temperature: 107～175℃, the recommended mould temperature is 140℃.
Injection pressure: 700～1500bar.
Injection speed: Use the highest possible injection speed.
Various fibers and fillers can be added for enhancement and modification, and its mechanical properties are greatly improved. Graphite, molybdenum disulfide or polytetrafluoroethylene can also be added to improve its self-lubricating performance.
